To you who are going to know Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord,
The Bible teaches that if we call on the name of the Lord, we shall be saved (Acts 2: 21)…. that if we ask God to reveal Himself to us from a sincere heart, He will.
Faith to believe is a GIFT from God, not something anyone can produce on their own. He chose all of His people from before the foundation of the world and ordained this very moment for you to receive Him as your savior… as everything you will ever need in this life.
“If you will confess Jesus as Lord with your mouth and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you SHALL BE saved.” Romans 10: 9
Be bold now to ask God for the faith to acknowledge Jesus as YOUR savior and do this. Then ask Him to give you the power to do His will which is to repent of your sins and receive grace to overcome then. Then He will baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire with the evidence of speaking in tongues.
The Christian life is not lived by self-effort… You will be changed day by day as you “Behold Him,” the One Who is The Living Word. And as you read and study the Bible,… as you meet and talk with other believers,…. and as you obey the nudging of the Spirit of God in your heart to do what He wants you to do, you will know what it is to have peace, joy and righteousness (being and doing what is right before God and man).
KNOW that you are deeply loved and fully received just as you are:… that ALL of your sins have been washed away by the blood Jesus shed for you when He died on the cross.…God doesn’t even remember them anymore. You are clean, free and a new creature in Christ Jesus through grace and through the faith God has just given to you to believe.
