Today I had a vision of rats: The countryside was full of them everywhere I looked, and the Lord reminded me that on this day long ago, Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus. Oh people of God: Prepare yourselves to see the betrayal of Christians on such a grand scale, you will find it hard to believe. It will be “every ungodly man for himself” with those who have the testimony of the Lord hated and persecuted not only by unbelievers, but by Christians, as well.

Jesus knew Judas would betray Him when He chose him, eh? and think of it: He even allowed this traitor to be in charge of all the money, knowing that he was a thief. Oh, the love of God to give him every opportunity to turn from his wicked ways. Despite all the miracles, healings, signs, and wonders Judas saw, and the intimate love Jesus gave him, Judas was the biggest rat of all: a turncoat who would have been better off had he never lived.

Have you ever given thought as to why Jesus called Judas: “Friend”? How many of us have understood that out of death comes life? Will we have HIS heart when we face the greatest persecution this world has ever known?

I wonder!

“You shall be betrayed, both by parents, and brethren, and kinfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.” (Luke 21: 16)

    • Yes, it is Jennifer. Your comment has caused me to realize another aspect of their meaning which is that EVERY aspect of life has been contaminated! What hasn’t been defiled? These rats are not friends though, unless they cause us to call out in the depth of our being to the Lord.
Oh God! ONLY you can save us! Only you can preserve your people!

  1. When I said every aspect of life, I was referring to our food, water, air, media, governments, entertainment, schools, etc. but God has some of his own that are not defiled. I praise Him for these!-

  2. So true Michele! I agree with you, I believe Christians are about to see betrayal against them on a large scale. I’m going to set this up to reblog in the morning at 7:00am if that’s good with you. A very important and sincere message. Peace and blessings to you sister….Robin
