It’s been said that the antidote for fear is faith. Uh, uh! I say it’s faith that works by LOVE! The Bible states that “Perfect love casts out fear,” so tell me: How many do you know who have perfect love,…. who have no fear,….. who are at ease? Ah, when the cross has done its final work and when the remnant goes on into perfection, the Daystars will shine and give God glory. They’ll be known THEN!
Almost two weeks ago I had a very frightening dream and then after it, some challenges came into my life that really rocked me. Yes I shook, not in my boots, but in my bare feet that had the devil’s thorns piercing them. But then three days later, God gave another dream that imparted faith to me. In it I was looking at my friend Irene’s beautiful home that was full of such light and glory, it was more than dazzling. Irene’s name means “Peace,” and that’s exactly what was given to me through the dream,… even the peace that passes understanding. My circumstances have not changed yet, but HE works to will and to do in us, and yes, we do have a part to play as is revealed in this allegory written some time ago:
Attention!

A lone soldier stood at attention with his arm raised and his hand in the position of a salute. The four star general was staring at him face to face with searching eyes that seemed to penetrate into the deepest parts of him. This soldier felt the intensity of the moment and squirmed inside. Because he could not see the invisible army surrounding him, he felt very much alone, unprotected and intimidated by the general. “What is he looking for?” he cried out to himself.
The general who was the captain of the hosts of heaven in flesh form could read thoughts and with a stern, yet compassionate voice he declared: “I am looking for the faith of Abraham in you,” to the astonishment of the soldier. “Do you have it?” he demanded. In that moment the soldier whose name was “Coming Along” realized that his mind had grasped the faith of Abraham, but that it was not in his heart yet.
Again, the general read his thought and replied to it: “When your heart fully embraces the faith of Abraham,… when your faith is no longer mixed with other erroneous teachings that you’ve believed, you won’t be just “Coming Along”…. You will have a new name and a new way of life. In the meantime, you must stand at attention… Your old arm of the flesh will grow weary during the period it takes for faith to come from the mind into the heart. It will cause you to cry out for the gem,… even the key of knowledge that you need. Stay!… I tell you to “Be still” and remain in the salute to the highest authority of all…. When you have come into the “real i zation,” the words “At ease” will bring forth a new arm and hand of power… You will be a right-handed son of God, part of the Benjamite company reserved for the end-time battle. Can you hear it?? Can you hear the shofar blowing in the distance? Truly, the call to arise and shine has come.”
How many will have the faith of Abraham? When He comes, will He find faith? May you who read and hear these words with your spiritual eyes and ears be the ones that do. Yay! May God arise and His enemies be scattered by YOU whose names will be changed to “Love’s Bold Faith!” Hallelujah!
Let it be, Lord!…. Let it be!

How often we have made faith so hard to attain! I have lived a lifetime knowing that faith is given to believe, and grace is something unearned. We have made salvation difficult, when all it takes is for the Spirit of God to speak into the heart of the one to receive. How simple it was for Abraham to believe and do what God had said! How simple!

You are the one I mentioned in my follow up blog that I had a vision of. Thank you Pedro for the conviction your words brought with them. God bless you brother.
