My friend Yoni’s words in my brain were like a choo-choo train’s whistle. “Just BE!” this 98 year old would tell me, and I’m telling you that this one has greater power than a locomotive engine in her BEing. Yes, I’m finally “chew-chewing” on the best advice I’ve ever had. Do birds strive to fly? Does the sun stress about whether or not it will shine? Do frogs worry about not being able to leap or to croak?

The Lord said that He works to will and to do in us,…. that the law of the spirit of life sets us free from the law of sin and death,…. and that He would perfect what concerns us. Don’t you think it’s about time that we relaxed and “LET” Him do what His Word says He’d do. Think of it: Our daddy said: “Let there be!” and that was all it took.

I don’t know about you, but “I get it” now. I have no power whatsoever in myself to fix anything having been in a fix all my life doing lots of doo-doo because of it,…. and so have you. I can hear someone saying: “The Bible teaches that we’re to do a lot of things, like pray, teach, praise, be kind, be fruitful, be wise and a whole lot more…. Michele, how can you believe that all we’re called to do is just believe and “BE”?

I am seeing that if God doesn’t initiate something, EVERYTHING is vanity and vexation of spirit. Aren’t you ready to get off that not so merry-go-round? If you are, here’s what God showed on how to BE” in the Spirit, and not in the flesh. “Turn out the light! Go to sleep!” He commanded, and I saw myself pull the string attached to a light bulb that was in the air above me. The light was not the sun, moon, or stars which represents revelation from God, but was a man-made light symbolic of our carnal, reasoning mind’s rays, and yes, we do have the power to turn it off. When we go to sleep, the body and soul becomes inactive, but NOT the spirit. Job 33: 14- 18 tells us that God speaks when we sleep: “In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction.”

What I believe God is revealing through this word and vision is that being asleep to all that is of the soulish realm is a state of being that we can continually be in throughout the day, NOT just when we go to bed at night. THIS is the rest that He told us to labor to enter into. 

Now there is one last thing I want to add: In the previous post, I wrote about how the house that we are is a “receiver” of all that God is and has, and that when all three stories (the three feasts) of our house are complete (spiritually fulfilled,) we will then be empowered to go on into perfection. While praying in the Spirit yesterday, the English word “condo” came which is short for “condominium,” and my whistle went “Whoo-whoo” when I read its etymology: “JOINT rulership and sovereignty…. DOMINION. Hear it: “The FIRST dominion shall come to the daughter-receiver of Zion. (Micah 4: 8)…. to the Bride joined to her Bridegroom…. to the spirit (male) and soul (female) that are ONE!

So tell me, are you almost ready to move into your new condominium that’s in the building of God next to mine? Truly, when each one of us lives in our own “living” quarters, yet together as one, we are going to see eye to eye, not from the light of a man-made light bulb, but from the light of the sun of righteousness rising up in us…. And what a day that will be,…. a “new day,” …. a day of great blessing!

Oh come on brethren: “Let it “BE”!
