“Borrowed Time” was running out of time… She had been sidetracked from her calling by not setting priorities. It was not that she was doing things that weren’t needful, but allowing the needs of others to occupy her attention caused her not to designate specific time for doing what she was ordained to do by the “Most High God.”

“Borrowed Time” had never been disciplined in goal-setting and due to her lack of knowledge and her inconsistent ways, one called “Orientation” was sent to assist her. “Orientation” knew that it was not going to be easy to accomplish her task because “Lackadaisical,” an imp sent from the “Dark One,” had accompanied “Borrowed Time” since the time she was a little girl. It had been easy for “Lackadaisical” to gain entrance into her life because “Borrowed Time”’s mother “Pleasure Lover,” never instilled into her the necessity of working hard. “Pleasure Lover” had had a very strict father who had overworked her and laid down heavy laws upon her that were too hard to bear during the years of her youth. Consequently, she reasoned that her daughter should have a life opposite of hers, but unfortunately for both her and her daughter, the consequences of having a too easy life were detrimental.

One of them was that many of her talents were untapped… She had no idea of her potential, but that was about to change because plans in the heavenlies had been made before “Borrowed Time” had ever been born. Orientation,” who was sent to her from above, would make sure of it. She joyfully announced: “You have a very, very great destiny, but you must listen to me well, and obey all that I instruct you to do in order to fulfill it.” Looking her fully in the eye, she asked: “Are you ready to follow me?”

But before “Borrowed Time” could answer, “Lackadaisical,” caused quite a commotion, having a terrible temper tantrum which caused “Borrowed Time” to turn her attention away from “Orientation”… She was diverted so much by “Lackadaisical” that “Forgetfulness,” another evil imp, was able to come in, and then “Mind Control,” who had been in “Borrowed Time”’s life for a very long time, took over.

“Orientation” understood the tactics of the enemy and, not discouraged from her mission, she called for reinforcement by blaring a loud trumpet which had an earth-shaking sound. Many many angels were dispatched to help and surrounded “Mind Control” and “Lackadaisical,” making it impossible for them to influence “Borrowed Time” any longer. With her senses regained, “Forgetfulness” quickly disappeared and “Borrowed Time” was able to realize what had taken place long ago when she allowed a besetting sin to take over. “Repentance” came and was like a fountain with flowing healing waters to cleanse her, and her change was immediately apparent.

Knowing that she could fulfill what she was called to do now that “Repentance” had done her work, “Orientation” told “Borrowed Time” who she was: “I’m a school master,” she proclaimed. “You won’t need me after you learn all my laws and have them living inside you, so learn these well:

#1. Pray to the “Most High God” to reveal his mind and ways to you asking for wisdom, not only to plan your day, but to help you make every decision before you act. Then, “Presumption” and “Assumption,” who have been with you far too long, will gradually lose their hold.

#2. Your Heavenly gift of tongues is to be prayed in before you do anything, asking for interpretation of them.

#3. Sit in silence before your great Lord afterwards, basking in His love for you.

#4. Meditate on the Word of God continually and hide it in your heart.

#5. Make decrees of life, proclaiming victory concerning all God puts in your heart and mind.

#6. Believe and go about doing good, knowing that whatever He places in your hand shall be blessed.

#7. Speak words of blessing on all you do and upon all the people who come to your mind and the ones you meet. 

#8. And last of all, praise, rejoice and give thanks continually.

It is then you’ll find success in all you do bringing God much glory and honor. Are you ready to do this “Borrowed Time”? Oh yes, she was ready!!

You, who are the cells of Christ’s body and have learned “Orientation”’s laws, too: “Redeemed Time” will be one with you on that day, and Hallelujah! YOUR time will have come.

Yay, “THE TIME OF THE REDEEMED”!
