Are you telling lies? I am not asking because I don’t know the answer… I’m asking because all of us need to take a good look at the words coming out of our mouths. Sigh! Double “sigh” and triple “sigh” because when we say anything contrary to what the Bible says, we are not speaking the truth,…. Yes, we are lying!

I just gave all of my medical history to a student that is preparing to be a dental hygienist: “Do you have…?” she asked. “What about..?” and so on and so on about the illnesses that the Word of God states were removed by the stripes of Jesus. As I realized how far off course we’ve been, I asked God: “WHAT are we to do?” When the children of Israel were in the wilderness for FORTY years, NONE of them got sick or had worn out shoes. Now here we, who have a better covenant, are full of sicknesses and more than worn out footwear because our feet have not been shod with the FULL gospel.

We’re asleep and worse than that: God just this moment told me that His people are a “rogue nation.” The etymology of the word “rogue” is: “idle sturdy beggar, one of the vagabond class.” Yes we are like beggars, or we make many proclamations with no works added to our faith because of hearts of unbelief

The Shunammite woman whose son was dead, told Elisha’s servant: “All is well.” Are we going to follow her example? We’ve not only been rogue, we’ve been blind to the fact we’ve not been telling the truth like that woman of faith did when she asserted that ALL was well. 

I know some of you may think I’ve lost my marbles in a bottomless pit when I tell you I believe our answer is the word that just popped into my mind like a bunny popping out of a magician’s hat. Not to worry- the source is NOT a magician, but the One Who does wonders, IF we believe Him for them. That “bunny” (prolific) word is “Brine” and I can hear some of you saying: “She’s NEVER going to get her marbles back!” You’re right, because God has given me diamonds of truth in their place. As sure as I know we’re slated for VICTORY. I know this word “brine” is from the Lord and is “THE GREAT REMEDY” for ALL our troubles.

Hear it: The etymology of “brine” is “water saturated with salt.” Truly when we soak up the Word of God (water) and DO IT, we become the salt of the earth,… even preserving power and more.

“You are the salt of the earth: but if the salt has lost its savor, wherewith shall it be salted? It is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” Matthew 5: 13, 14

So come on brethren: Let’s soak up the Word, light the world and start doing GREAT miracles! It’s time!
