Glory Lost, But What Gain

He was willing to be stripped of His glory, but what about us?

A few weeks ago while praying with a friend, I had a vision of the Lord shaving off my hair with an electric razor and my immediate response was “Oh no, God!” A sense of sadness and shame swept over me because I knew that hair represented glory and here I was losing mine. I couldn’t understand what it meant. “What have I done, Lord?” was the silent question in my heart.

A night ago another vision came that had an answer for me: I saw the Lord moving both of His hands on the top of my head and I heard the word “cranium.” The movement of his hands represent fullness of power working and the cranium which means “shull” has the etymology of “a bald head.” Truly, the Lord talks to His children and gives us understanding in due time.

Jesus said: “You can not be my disciple unless you forsake ALL”…. This is the hour that will reveal the ones who are not only willing, but those who will actually do it. It is one thing to forsake mother, father, sisters, brothers, wives, and lands…. but the last part of what we will have to forsake: EVEN our lives- THAT’S another thing!

We are being prepared to be stripped of all the earthly glory we’ve ever known now. The faithful ones are going to walk down the road of “Via Dolorosa” (literally the “sorrowful way”) in this hour to our own crucifiction. Some of you like Peter will say: “No it can never be!…. Far be it from you,” but it shall be for you who pay the price…. for you who at the end will have the glory of the Father that was slated for you before the foundation of the world.

Brethren, gird up your loins. It’s late. The road to Golgotha is at the door!

  1. Spot on Michele.
We must endure to the end no matter what happens to us. No compromise to the end. Be prepared to lose our life! Jesus will be right there with us if we will just focus on him and not go into fear.
“Onward Christian Soldiers marching as to war”.
Thank you for warning the saints.

    • Thank you so much for your comment Jennifer and for reminding us that we are Christian soldiers in a war. I pray that we will be armed with the fullness of faith, wisdom, understanding, truth and love to stand in this evil day and especially with God’s grace to endure. Bless you dear friend for sharing your wise words.
      ❤️Michele
