Feat in Position

As I woke up this morning, I heard the words “Keep your feet in the stirrups!” and when I prayed in the Spirit, the words: “Hope, Hope, Hope!” came.

I didn’t have to search for a scripture as the pages of my Bible opened right up to these verses: “We have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the Hope set before us: which Hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that within the veil.” Hebrews 6: 18, 19

Truly we are in a birthing time right now, just like a woman digging her heels into stirrups as she labors to bring forth new life.

Many years ago when I desired to have a mate, I met someone who I thought was “the one” for me. As I prayed about the relationship, I had a vision of myself in labor with the baby’s head stuck in the process. I heard the voices of people shouting: “Push! Push!” and I was angry at them in my pain. I didn’t want to push. The Holy Spirit gave the interpretation of this vision letting me know that the baby I was giving birth to was a “new me.”

The Bible states that a husband is the head of his wife and God showed me that the relationship with this man would not culminate in marriage like I had hoped, but instead, would be instrumental in changing me.

That the baby’s head was stuck spoke volumes. — Not only was there a block in my natural relationship, there was a block in my coming forth into perfection. Until the Spirit (the male… our Husband who is our Maker) is in complete union with our soul (the female… the bride), we can not experience fullness of life.

At the time I had this vision I had no idea of how deeply rooted anger was in me and I dare say in all of us. Until we can not only forgive and bless people, but truly love them.. until we can rejoice in EVERY situation, … until we can lay down all our soul’s dreams at the feet of Jesus, you can be sure, anger (that we didn’t get what we wanted, that things didn’t turn out the way we thought they would, that someone hurt us and more) will be in our hearts…. Anger blocks our destiny of Christ being fully formed in us and what a price we’ll pay if we let anger remain in us.

But we have a great hope and promises by which we can be partakers of the divine nature. “Transfiguration” will be the new life experience of overcomers who are faithful and who believe God’s Word. Then, a “new us” as “One” will come forth shining as the sun with the capacity of doing the greater works Jesus said we would do.

Listen to the words of Jesus  in answer to the question: “When His kingdom should come?” (II Clement V. 4-6) Jesus replied: “When two shall be one, and that which is without as that which is within; and the male with the female, neither male nor female.” He went on to explain what he meant by “the male with the female, neither male, nor female.”— The male He called “anger” and the female He called “concupiscence.”

When therefore a man is come to such a pass that he is subject neither to the one nor the other of these (both of which through the prevalence of custom, and an evil education, cloud and dark and the reason,) But rather, having dispelled the mist arising from them and being full of shame, shall by repentance have united both his soul and spirit and the obedience of reason; then, as Paul says, there is in us neither male nor female.”

Can you see how anger and lust are the two enemies of the soul that must be overcome in order for Christ to be fully formed in us? Truly if these defilers are not ruled over, they will block the headship of our Lord from having its rightful place in us. Finally, I am able to see that anger, resentment, and irritation are usurpers of my destiny. By grace, by the blood of the Lamb, by His Spirit, by our not loving our lives to the death, and by the word of our testimony, anger shall not rule us.

So tell me: You who are the called: “Are you in the birthing position with your feet in the stirrups? If you are, deliverance is next…. and THEN you can saddle up on that white horse (redeemed flesh) of yours and ride the heavens in power.

So what can I say now, but get stirred up and push, push, PUSH! We are going to stir up more than a stir!
