In the middle of the night I heard the word: “Squirrels are coming!”… I am not nuts in believing that this was from God and that He desires us to discover the treasure that is hidden in a seemingly foolish word. This is not a message that a bunch of literal squirrels will be taking over our backyards or that unpredictable, nervous, crazy people are coming,… although I’m sure by what we’re seeing in the world today, these kinds of squirrely people are already here and still coming.

When I looked to God for exactly what He was saying… for what squirrels specifically symbolized, the word “nimble” came to mind and then when I prayed in tongues, the English word “conduit” was in the middle of them. So let’s crack open some nuts here to get some understanding:

Nimble means agile, light, and quick in motion. It’s from “quick to grasp, quick at taking… “to take”… and marked by quick, alert, clever conception, comprehension or resourcefulness.Yes, yes, YES!! Being squirrely is good! God has been developing people who are quick to comprehend what He is doing and saying,… ones who take His word and run with it,… ones who store up spiritual food,…. ones who can crack through the outer meaning of the Word to get to the meat of revelation, .… ones who prepare ahead of time for the winter of their souls. Truly, these are the divine conduits that the world has been waiting for.

A season of very great darkness is upon us and it is squirrels who will have life to give from out of their vast storehouses. I never thought I’d be saying that I wanted to be a bushy-tailed squirrel with a glorious, full end. Yes “I am that I am”…. and shall be ALL things to all men, even a divine squirrel.
