Some years ago, a friend and I went to a Christian conference in Galveston, Texas and stayed in a lovely motel that seemed just perfect for us….  that is until a multitude of students from a near-by college arrived with only partying and celebrating on their minds. Among other sounds (alarm sirens of cars going off, loud laughter, and much yelling), rap music blared each night until 3:00- 4:00 in the morning… It was definitely not what two middle-aged women had in mind for a blissful Christian retreat. I had not previously been a fan of this kind of music, but when I began to pray and worship God during our last morning there, imagine my surprise when I found myself doing Christian rap. Yes, God likes rap, and now, so do I. May you be blessed by this spontaneous, tongue-talking, Michele-styled rap.
